DENNIS MORRISON II, is the managing partner of Equity Holdings Group LLC. a company with major equity positions in medical, transportation, and technology companies. Formerly, he was a managing partner with Acumen Group Strategic Consultants LLC; a Management & Technology consulting firm providing an array of executive business services, and leading a multi disciplined team of professional consultants. Dennis has 30+ years of management experience. He has managed companies in multiple industries including medical, social service, transportation, and telecommunications. He is the co-founder of the Family Centered Educational Agency Inc. (F.C.E.A.) a 501(c)(3) Non-profit who serves over 2000 families in the greater Chicagoland area, and Corpus Christi Tx. (F.C.E.A.) provides educational instruction, tutoring, mentoring, and an array of support services designed to equip students with the skills needed for successful post-secondary completion through federal TRIO grants.
Dennis has served as a national trainer, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, and in that capacity he has trained over 200 colleges and universities in management, technology, and capacity building. He has provided consulting services to many national organizations such as, Easter
Seals, Catholic Charities, The National Parent Teachers Association (NPTA),
The National Association of Drug Court Professionals, The John S. & James L.
Knight Foundation, Diversified Fuel Group (An ExxonMobil Company), as well as local clients like Chicago Public Schools (CPS), the city of Chicago Department of Human Services, and C.E.D.A. Dennis has successfully secured over 50 million dollars in public and private grant-funding for his clients including school districts, community-based organizations, state universities, and national institutions. His educational accomplishments includes a Bachelor and Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and has nearly all of his coursework completed toward a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
